This week’s Meet a Mom interview is one of our own—Jennifer Wege, the mom of two behind Northern Westchester Moms! She and her husband Greg live in Bedford Hills, NY, with their boy-girl twins, Alexander and Olivia, who are in second grade. “I learned about The Local Moms Network (TLMN) from my friend Serena who was NWM before me!

Why did you decide to raise a family in your area?
Northern Westchester is so amazing to raise a family, we have the convenience of being close to the city but we have the balance of nature. You can go for a great hike or head to local museums or head to the city for the day!
What is your background, professionally?
My life pre NWM and mom life, I was a retail regional merchandiser and store manager. It taught me how to balance working and being a mom, and I still have a love for fashion!
What is your favorite part of being part of TLMN?
Being part of our community and showcasing them to our viewers!
What is your best mom mantra?
It is all about balance! Having a partner and community to help with balance is amazing too!
What is your favorite mom hack?
Oh my crock pot and I are best friends! The more I can make in there to provide a delicious
meal the better for everyone!

Podcasts are my jam! I listen in the car to Respectful Parenting by Janet Lansbury and Dear
Gabby by Gabby Bernstein.
