This is our fourth camp in our series on some of our favorite sleepaway camps across the country.

Nestled among towering pine trees near pristine waters, Tripp Lake Camp is an all-girls, full-season summer camp located in Poland, Maine. Campers are ages 7 to 16. The TLC experience offers a broad array of team and individual sports, performing and visual arts, and outdoor living skills. In a fun and stimulating environment, TLC provides a range of opportunities for girls to challenge themselves, gain confidence, and expand their horizons.

Director Leslie Konigsberg Levy explains, “Everything we do at TLC is imbued with what is known as the Spirit of Tripp Lake—a spirit that fosters camaraderie, enthusiasm, compassion, respect and responsibility. In an increasingly fast-paced world, TLC provides a nurturing, supportive environment that enhances a girl’s sense of value and self-worth.”

The fields and grounds of Tripp Lake reverberate with the sounds of cheering, laughter and song. Tripp Lake’s structure of team games and activities throughout the summer means the lessons and bonds of teamwork, support, sportsmanship, and perseverance are reinforced daily.

Another wonderful thing about Tripp Lake Camp is their dedicated and active alumnae base. Says Leslie: “The deep-rooted relationships that start at camp are evident in the lifelong friendships that carry forward through college, family life, and career.”

Tripp Lake Camp is owned by Leslie’s brother, Jeff Konigsberg, who is also the owner and director of nearby Camp Takajo for boys in Naples, Maine.
