Spring is a great time to add some new dresses to your closet. When dressing for holidays from Easter to Mother’s Day, a new outfit can make you feel instantly festive. And dresses for moms are always a good call, as you can throw one on and feel put together, fast.

The Local Moms Network fashion contributor Kristin Kennedy of Closetful of Clothes, says to think light and bright. “Whether your plans are more casual or fancy, I always like to use Easter as an excuse to dress up a bit and wear something light and pretty that nods to the season,” she says.

Of course, florals may not be your typical go-to but Kristin suggests trying to lean into the vibrant hues: “Lighter shades of beige, cream and camel work too. But personally, I love to wear a pretty print or pastel hue for Easter.” To that end, Kristin has curated a collection of special pieces that work for all your Spring soirees, along with some well-chosen accessories to complete your outfit.

Cara Cara Mackenzie Dress, $425

This is such a versatile Easter dress! It works for everything from church to an Easter egg hunt to brunch at the club to dinner at your in-laws. It’s also great because you can wear it long after Easter. Pair it with these gold flats and a small clutch.

Veronica Beard Laurel Tweed Dress, $598

This is perfect for a traditional holiday luncheon and church. It also works well for a party too. Try it with these (Chanel-inspired but more affordable) flats.

DOEN Noisette Dress, $328

The long sleeves make this a great option if it’s still chillier where you live. It feels springy but offers extra coverage. Accessorize with these mules which give a little height but still allow you to chase after the kiddos.

Christy Lynn Porter Coat in Rose Damask, $795

This coat is a beautiful option if you want to wear pants, a white or neutral dress, or a skirt but crave a pop of color. It feels spring-y and nods to Easter and will definitely dress up your look. To complete the outfit, I like white jeans and a chic pair of mules.

Sezane Caprice Dress, $225

This dress is another fantastic option if the weather is a bit cooler where you live. Darker prints are also great for concealing stains from kiddos if they’re still using you as a human napkin! Since this has been such a popular colorway, you may have more luck with this dress in a similar style.
